Now that we have researched an example of a mythical hero, we will be looking at a modern version.
We will be watching Batman but you are not limited to this hero for your comparison essay.
You do, however, need to use Achilles.
He is an organizer to help you as you watch.

In partners, summarize three interesting events related to the Trojan War (before, during and/or after). I want events other than the ones in “The Lonely Winner.”
Describe at what point they happen in the war, the key players and the result. Include the source of your information.
Include a picture or two.

Back-story

1) Each student will be responsible for contributing to the back-story of a new character designed by the group.
2) Using the character you’ve created, take turns adding to the life story of a new character: both protagonist and antagonist.
3) Put the new characters into a plot graph scenario of either a relationship, a crisis or the big game and determine how each will react to the events of that story.
4) Try to think of events that will test the strengths and weaknesses of the two characters.
HAND IN
Your evaluation of your characters and plot. What improvements could make the story more appealing to the audience.

1) Take up questions on Lather and Nothing Else
2) Back Story – Develop a protagonist and an antagonist. – Select 5 key life-changing events and the character change that occurred afterwards.
3) Now place them in the following situations and decide what their logical behavior might be: the big game, a relationship, a crisis.
